Language Arts:
We are working on our shared inquiry story for the quarter. We have read the Happy Prince , and are working on our second reads. I have graded all of the research papers that have been turned in. Some are VERY late at this point. Students have two weeks to revise and turn in a Final clean copy of their paper and Works Cited page.

Social Studies:
We are working on a one pager organizer for the Terra Cotta Soldiers. Students also watched a PowerPoint about the soldiers in class today. The one pager directions are here as well.

One Pager Directions:

Must be on a single standardized size of unlined paper
Must fill the entire page
Writing must be in ink, no pencil
Include your name and a title for the page
Use colored pens or markers unless the piece demands black and white.

The following required elements may be arranged on the page in any way the student chooses.

1. Must have two or more excerpts from the reading. (passages that you think are important)
2. Must have a graphic Representation: drawing that ties the piece you read to the quotes you choose.
3. Must include a personal response to what you have read: comment, interpretation, evaluation, or main idea
4. Include two questions that have more than one right answer. (Interpretative)
