Language Arts:

    Today students read in Charlotte Doyle while I held book conferences for the Twenty-Five Book Campaign. Then I checked the first paragraphs of their research papers. We are still working on properly inserting internal citations. I have also checked all but a few note card sets (the ones that came in late).

Social Studies:

     Students in 4th and 5th hour worked on lesson 4-1 which covers the geography of Egypt. In 6th hour we discussed the Code of Hammurabi documents.

Field Trip

    Students should be bringing home a permission slip for the November 2nd field trip today. We will be going to the Salt Academy in Hutchinson from 8:30-2:20. The cost is eight dollars. Hope everyone is able to attend.
