Language Arts:

Students went to the library today and checked out books. They also learned about the Battle of the Books at Robinson. Then they worked on their hook and opening for the introductory paragraph. The first four paragraphs should be completed when they enter class on Friday.

Social Studies:

4th and 5th hours checked lesson 4-1 and began their assignment on the Old Kingdom.
6th hour will begin lesson 4-1 in class today. It is homework if they did not complete it.

Reminder:

Field trip forms and money should be turned in as soon as possible. We now have four parents chaperoning our field trip. We can have one more parent attend for free. Just let me know!

I will be at a training tomorrow. Mrs. Powell will be my substitute. My LA classes will be working  on their research paper and reading True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle.  My Social Studies classes will be watching the movie, "The Great Pyramids" and completing a video form.
