Language Arts:

    Students went to the book fair and then  watched a video on thesis statements and essay openings. We then discussed these two topics in class. Third hour wrote down thesis statements, and first hour will write their thesis statements tomorrow in class.

Social Studies:

We read and judged Hammurabi's codes in class today. All students attended Judge Pierron's presentation of You be the Judge. It was an interesting assembly. I think we may have some lawyers arising from this sixth grade class.
