Language Arts : Students have been wonderful. We have gone over student agendas and collected summer homework. Today and tomorrow we will be presenting our book jackets in front of the class. Students overall are doing great and learning to use their presentation voices.

Social Studies: Students are beginning to learn about early man and how we know what occurred  in the past through evidence such as fossils, writing and the artifacts left behind. We also have discussed book check out procedures and Mrs. Mandelbaum's Important Information to Know. Students were asked to have parents read and sign the information paper- for extra credit.
