Language Arts:

Students drew a picture of their favorite scene in Part 1 of the novel. They labeled their pictures and read chapters 13-14. Tomorrow we will sequence the illustrations.

Social Studies:

Students took their first test of the year. Many thought it was an easy test! Students also read about the beginning of permanent settlements. This was a result of early man' s development of agriculture.
