Language Arts:

Students completed two more paragraphs using application and analysis questions for Charlotte Doyle. Then students read through chapter 20. Tomorrow we will finish the novel! A test will be on Monday covering the book.

Social Studies:

Students graded lesson 2-2 about surplus food and how it changed early man from being hunters and gatherers to being members of permanent settlements. Then students worked on lesson 2-3, where they learned about early villages that grew into towns, that grew into cities and finally into the first civilizations.
