Language Arts:

Students orally read the play, "Amistad" in class today. We discussed the issue of slave ships and the political climate of the United States in the 1840's. We also compared this ship to the one in Charlotte Doyle.

Social Studies:

Students completed lesson 1-2 and checked it in class today. There will be a test over Chapter 1 on Thursday of this week.
