Language Arts:
We discussed Kaddo's Wall from yesterday. Then I let students choose a new book on the theme of Overcoming Obstacles. Students read, while I book conferenced for the Twenty Five Book Campaign.

Social Studies:

Students received their MesoAmerica tests back today. Then they began reading lesson 11-1 in their green textbooks. We are studying the modern world today, and related how we have modified things from the ancient world into our modern daily lives.
