Language Arts:

Students brainstormed holocaust related words with the beginning letters A to Z. This list will be used for a future writing assignment. Then, students wrote a lit letter entry and read in their holocaust novels. Students need to read twenty pages in their novels each night. Most are reading plenty and are interested in this topic.

Social Studies:

Students are writing their BAB organizers for Rome. This is the final chapter of the books they are creating. All characters need to return to their place of origin to conclude the story.
