Language Arts:

Students wrote a paragraph about their favorite holiday activity, and then wrote another paragraph about a New Year's resolution. Students then shared their writings with the class.

Social Studies:

Students read about Odysseus in their textbook today (pages 266-269). Then students wrote a 50 word summary and a persuasive paragraph explaining about why Odysseus should have to fight in the Trojan War, or why he should be excused from this duty. Then students shared these writings with the class.
