Monday: Library check-out.
Return to class for Warm- up Activity for: Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.
Writing: Create a list of ten people you would invite to a dinner and explain why for each individual. These guests can be either dead or alive.
Speaking and Listening: Share these with the class.
Tuesday: Writing: Create questions people could ask about your topic that you would feel comfortable answering.
Speaking and Listening: Then, share questions as a class.
Wednesday: Speaking and listening: Break into groups for the Dinner party. Decide as a class who would fit best at each table.
Social Studies:
Monday: Read: Lesson 4-4
Write answers to worksheet 4-4 on the New Kingdom.
Tuesday: Reading, speaking and listening:Complete and check 4-4 assignment. Then review for test on Wednesday with a vocabulary game of Around the World.
Wednesday: Reading and Writing: Test over chapter 4. Then students can work on their Build-A Books for the remainder of the class period.
