Language Arts:

Students discussed the elements of a short story today after reading about Maroo in our Social Studies text. We also touched on interpretive questions for our future shared inquiry discussions. I also showed my classes how to access this blog on the district's website.

Social Studies:

Students completed their scavenger hunts and then began Chapter 1-lesson 1. The focus of the lesson was to learn about early man. Students will have tome to complete this in class tomorrow.
