Language Arts:

Students created poetry today in class. We brainstormed things a bully would say, and then wrote ten things down. Next we talked about rhyme scheme, meter, and rearranging words in a poem. Students worked in pairs to try and create a one stanza poem.

Social Studies:

Students reviewed hunting and gathering around the world and the map reading concept of latitude and longitude lines. There will be a test over Chapter One on Tuesday!
