Language Arts:

Discussed new vocabulary for the Misfits. Students then worked as a group to use the words cooperatively. Quiz over chapters 1-5 tomorrow.

Social Studies:

Students watched a video showing neanderthal man being replaced by cro-magnon man. They also witnessed the importance of fire to early man and the fact that the neanderthals' buried their dead giving us evidence of what their lives were like.
