Why Walk?
Walk with the Down Syndrome Society of Wichita
and help raise awareness about Down syndrome.
Enjoy the walk and the festivities immediately
following – food, games, music, face painting,
moonwalks, cheerleaders and a fire truck. There
is no fee to participate in this fun family event!

10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Pre-register on the Down Syndrome Society of
Wichita website at www.dsswichita.org, or request
a registration form by contacting Michelle Sanchez
at treasurer@dsswichita.org or 316-617-9102.
Registration on the morning of the walk begins
at 9:45 a.m. at the Heartspring campus.
The one-mile walk begins at 10:30 a.m.

For our Middle Schoolers: Call Rebecca Mc Caulley

The Buddy Walk is held on October 3rd, from 9a.m. - 1p.m. at the Heartspring campus on North 29th Street between Rock and Webb Roads. Most volunteers would be needed about 4 hours, but if someone can only stay 2 or 3 hours their schedule can be accommodated. Middle school students would be assigned to work some of the carnival games that are provided during the event.
