Community Service Opportunity for August 23

L’Ouverture was very fortunate to have a group of dedicated students, the Playground Squad, and a committed gifted teacher, Jinny Walz, who raised $30,000 in cash and $50,000 in donated materials to help build a new playground. We have reached the final stage of our playground project. The equipment is in, we have an installation date (August 22 and 23), but we are looking for volunteers to help with the installation of the equipment. The goal is to complete the lion’s share of the project on Friday and to finish up on Saturday. If any of you know of any volunteers who would be interested in this opportunity or if you are interested in helping, please let me know. Drinks and beverages will be served and all needed materials will be provided. I appreciate your time and consideration.
