Community Service Opportunity

Hi, this e mail contains info. regarding an opportunity for students to earn community service hours at a large swim meet that Wichita Swim Club will be hosting. WSC is a non-profit organization that cannot host such large events w/out the help from volunteers.

I will need timers and possible help in hospitality or concessions for this swim meet Fri December 7, Sat Dec 8th and Sun Dec 9th. The kids can pick as many or as few sessions as they like, but if they commit to working a session, they need to stay the ENTIRE session. I have had problems in the past w/kids leaving early, then we have to scramble to find someone to fill in.

Friday December 7th, please be at WSC by 4:45 p.m, and plan to stay to 8 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday December 8th and 9th be at WSC by 8 a.m. and plan to stay to about 1 p.m.

Ending times are estimates as it is hard to be exact about the ending time due to unforeseen issues that occasionally occur during a meet. A phone is available for kids to call for their ride.
Wichita Swim Club is located on the Campus of The Independent School on East Douglas, just east of Rock Road.
