Language Arts:

Students are reading their new novels. Homeless Bird and Z for Zachariah readers both need to be through chapter 4 tomorrow. We had a quiz over their first two chapters today. Keep working on your research papers at home. The first five paragraphs are due next Monday, November 5th.

Social Studies:

Students took an open note quiz over Section 5-3 today. Most of the students did very well on it. While some students are taking more notes than they need, most students are doing much better at taking notes.Tomorrow we will go over the story of Siddhartha. No textbook is required.
