Wow! What a great first two days of school. Thanks for sharing your kids with me! I want to thank all of you who have sent pencils, kleenex and notecards. I appreciate it very much.

Language Arts: All students received their literature books today. We worked on prefixes and root words. We also read the story Sarah Tops in their literature books.

Social Studies: Students all received their textbooks today in class and worked on a scavenger hunt to familiarize them with the textbook. All Social Studies books need to be covered. Several students took old bookcovers so they will not need new ones.
