Language Arts:

Students had their library orientation today. Now they can check out books any time. They also learned about Battle of the Books today. There will be a book fair set-up during conferences next week in the library. We hope many of you will attend.

Social Studies:

Students worked on completing their T-Charts for their first essay. We will begin writing these tomorrow after we review thesis statements and the body of a persuasive essay. Students will have to decide which lifestyle was more beneficial to early man - a hunting and gathering lifestyle or an agricultural lifestyle.
