Language Arts:
Students in block 1 went to the library and read Dog of Pompeii. The students are rewriting the story from Bimbo's point of view. Students in block 9 finished reading Tuck Everlasting and discussed it in class today. We took a test and then chose a book for our next unit of study.

Social Studies:
Students received their tests back today. We are beginning our Persuasive paper this week. We are comparing two ancient civilizations and determining which is the more significant one. This will be due on Wednesday, March 28th. We also are welcoming our student teaher Mrs. Jennifer Haney!
