Language Arts:

Students wrote thank-you notes for the Education Edge minigrant which provided the Living Voice presentations and purchased a new video recorder, tripod and DVD's for our classroom. These thank-you notes will be displayed as placemats for the district's corporate sponsor luncheon next month. This event will kick-off the 2007-2008 mini grants which will be available to all classroom teachers.

Social Studies:

Students were working on lesson 7-2. We are studying Greece and are concentrating today on the Minoans and Myceneans.
