Language Arts:
Block 1: Students discussed enthusiastically about the novel Tangerine today. Boy, did we ever get off topic today! Then students had time to read, or revise their photostories. Tangerine must be finished by Friday. Students were given a rubric for their oral presentations on Tuesday.
Block 9-10: Students will discuss Homeless Bird today, and must complete the novel by tomorrow.
Social Studies:
Students are taking a quiz over the Zhou dynasty today. Students then will begin reading lesson 4 in their textbook.
DOG: Explain Confucianism.
