Language Arts:
Students had recreational reading for the first period today and then they chose common stories from which to review the various parts of a story line. Students then presented these to the class. We discussed their weekend reading. Students were assigned through Chapter 17 (page 165) as homework tonight in Charlotte Doyle.
Social Studies:
Students watched a video about the causes of the Revolutionary War. Then they worked on their newspaper articles. The interview article is due tomorrow in hours five and six. I HAVE EXTENDED THE DEADLINE FOR THIS PROJECT TO BE DUE ON:TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER FIFTH.
DOG: Which came first? The Declaration of Independence or the Constitution?
