Language Arts:
Students completed giving their oral presentations today. We then started our Holocaust study. We discussed what students already know about the Holocaust, and then I filled in more details about its history. I also read Terrible Things to the students which is an allegory about the Holocaust. It emphasizes how people allowed bad things to happen to others by just pretending nothing was happening.

Social Studies:
We graded the crossword puzzle over the vocabulary terms and played Taboo to review for tomorrow's test over Chapter 11.
