***I will be out of the building on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week working on Social Studies State Assessments in Lawrence. Mrs. Kenagy will be back with the classes during my absence.
Language Arts:
Class finished oral presentations, and then discussed the Holocaust. First Hour read poems written by the children in the concentration camps. We will continue this next week.
Social Studies:
Students took a test over Chapter 11. I was very pleased with their scores. The classes did very well even without a study guide. Students then had Social Studies Recreational Reading following the test.
DOG: Name the largest country in North America and South America.
