Language Arts:
Students read a play about a boy with severe depression today. We discussed what students should do if someone they know is very depressed. The title of the play is called, "The Tunnel". Students were also given a reflection sheet to respond to their daily reading. This is very important and a large percentage of their fourth quarter grade.
Social Studies: Students finished their graphic for the continent they were assigned to present. All groups presented today.
DOG: Cuba is an island off the coast of the United States. What state is closest to this island?
