Language Arts:
Read Chapters seven, eight and nine in Tuck Everlasting. Write either a lit letter or a poem to your lit partner. We discussed the obstacles of Winnie in the wood. We also acted out the new vocabulary words.
Social Studies:
We continue to work on our district writing assessment comparing Ancient Rome or Greek governments to our own system. Students will be given works cited sheets to complete, since this is a research paper. We also will discuss wrap-up sentences and the introductory paragraph today.
DOG: Which city is further East? The city of Caracas, Venezuela or New York City?
